50 Life lessons
1. Love God and Jesus above all...seek them in everything you do and in every decision you make...talk
to God and Jesus and read your Bible every day.
2. Bring Glory to God...understand that he rules the world...your world.
3. Be a blessing to others, but mostly to your parents...go out of your way, if necessary, to please
someone or help them accomplish their goals.
4. Give ten percent tithe to Our Lord willingly and he will give you more to tithe for.
5. Speak the truth in all things...even if the truth gets you in trouble.
6. Be respectful of others and most importantly of women...treat others like you want to be treated.
7. Believe in yourself...no one else can do it for you.
8. If you don't like where you are going, stop and go a different way.
9. Get a road map for your life and stick to it. If you do not know where you are going, any road will get
you there. Set goals and specific steps to achieving them. Read your goal set list and tasks for each
every single day. Come up with a method and use it. Prioritize your tasks...nothing else matters but
working on, and accomplishing, the most important task at hand.
10. Stop blaming yourself for past mistakes, failures....anything. Understand why the mistake occurred
and make a conscious decision to move on...with a commitment that you will not make the same
mistake again. Yesterday is gone and worrying about it just plain foolish.
11. There is no difference between you and successful people...the only difference is that they are more
dedicated, focused and try harder to achieve their goals. Learn to discipline yourself in all things...and
how to discipline others and inspire them in a loving way.
12. Don't be selfish...it is a sign of immaturity and shows a small mind.
13. Most all problems begin with you. Look at your role and then see if there were external causes...not
the other way around.
14. Know that in the end, it is what you give away that will count with God, not what you have amassed.
15. Clean up behind yourself...if it is clean, make it even better than when you found it.
16. Plan your actions before you do something...and get prepared before you start out doing it. Get help if
you do not know.. Start by reading a book on the subject. Read one book every month...because if you
read one hour a day on a specific subject, in three years you will be the top expert in the field.
17. Make a real positive difference in the world, your work, your family and in the lives of people you
meet.
18. Associate with successful people and you will rise and be given opportunities. It also will drive you
on to higher success. If you associate with unsuccessful people...you will become unsuccessful.
19. Take the time to help someone and invest yourself to love someone...unconditionally.
20. Secure personal property each and every time you leave...there are people in the world who want what
we have and will take it if given the chance....don't make it easy for them to steal.
21. If you are given something on loan, return it promptly. If you loan something, write it down and keep
track of it so you will remember who has it when their memory fails to bring it back.
22. Work with what you love to do...no work should ever be intolerable.
23. If you have animals, take the best of care of them....they were put in your care by God for you to watch
over, feed and care for.
24. Don't do anything that is going to increase your risks of failure or increase the risk of anyone around
you.
25. Take time each day to just reflect and THINK. No distractions...no noise, no people, nothing...just sit
and THINK. Most people don't do this simple process.
26. Do what you say you are going to do. If you make a commitment, live up to it.
27. Tell someone three positive things about them for each negative.
28. Amassing money is not the end goal of life...unselfish happiness filled by the spirit of God is.
29. Be bold, a leader and courageous...God never wanted you to be weak.
30. Know that any religion that asks you to “learn enough” or “do enough” to get to Heaven is a false
religion. Islam is not a religion of peace...it is a lie because it instructs believers that to get to heaven,
you need to kill all nonbelievers. The only way to get to heaven is through Jesus.
31. Save 20% of you check every payday for a rainy day...it always rains and sometimes the rain lasts for
years.
32. If someone gives you their trust, don't waste it or abuse it....cherish it.
33. People will always try to make their individual situation better...sometimes at your expense.
34. Be slow to anger and show restraint at all times.
35. You will make better decisions when you write down the pros and cons after you increase your
knowledge, know the risks, ask for advice from those who have been there before you, and quickly
embrace new information when it comes.
36. Confidence is built on repetitive good decisions and actions that bring about positive results.
37. Decisions lead to actions, which leads to behavior, which leads to character. If your decisions are good
and you have good actions, the rest will take care of itself.
38. Fight for anything you believe in.
39. Never give up...most people fail when they are closest to success.
40. It takes five different times of asking to get people to buy from you.
41. Passive income is not a job...it is a check in the mail or a deposit in the bank that you had to do nothing
current to receive.
42. The only people who win on Wall Street are the people selling the investment.
43. Do not trust your money with anyone. Learn to manage and budget your own money.
44. Quality of life is more important than immediate gratification.
45. Have a hobby and be good at it.
46. Find friends and be a friend.
47. Have children by choice, not by accident. The greatest gift you can give an orphaned child is a home.
48. Follow the Ten Commandments as if your life depends on it...because it does.
49. Pray each day on your knees to remind you who you are praying to....GOD.
50. Marry someone who believes in these things...you will not be disappointed.
